Dandelion Tea
Dandelion Tea uses the flower, leaves, and stems of fresh dandelions rather than only one part of the plant.
The dandelions are combined with water in a large pot, brought to a boil, and then simmered for a full 30 minutes.
Once the long simmer is complete, the tea is simply strained and served. The source includes no sweetener or additional seasoning.
Ingredients
- 2 cups dandelions, including flowers, leaves, and stems
- 4–6 cups water
Method
Combine the dandelions and water in a large pot over high heat. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for 30 minutes. Remove from the heat, strain, and serve. Makes 3–5 cups.
