Informative Learning
Informative learning adds knowledge or skill within a way of seeing that remains largely intact. We know more, and can do more, but the frame itself has not changed.
Transformative learning reaches the frame. What we took for granted becomes visible as an assumption, and another way of understanding opens. Both kinds of learning matter; the distinction asks what exactly has changed.
