Transformative Learning
Transformative learning makes the structures through which we think, know, and act available for examination. It asks us to notice the assumptions that usually remain in the background.
When those structures shift, a learner may see new possibilities for themselves and for others. The point is more than acquiring another fact; it is a change in how the learner can make sense of and participate in the world.
