Agreement / Alignment
Agreement concerns where people are going. People can choose the same direction or outcome while arriving there from different commitments.
Alignment concerns what they are coming from. When people act from a shared commitment, they may still need to work out the route, but they have common ground for doing so.
The two can support each other without becoming the same. Agreement names a shared destination. Alignment names the source from which people take the next step.
