The Cold Feet Cure: Almond Milk with Crushed Pistachios & Rose Water

The Cold Feet Cure is a no-cook almond-milk drink flavored with crushed pistachios, cardamom, nutmeg, rose water, sweetener, and optional saffron.

Everything is mixed directly in a pitcher, so the preparation depends on balancing the aromatic ingredients rather than on heat or steeping.

The crushed pistachios remain in the drink for texture, while cardamom, nutmeg, rose water, and optional saffron provide the main fragrance.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Almond Milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted pistachios, crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Sweetener to taste
  • A few drops rose water
  • A few strands saffron, optional

Method

Combine the almond milk, pistachios, cardamom, nutmeg, sweetener, rose water, and optional saffron in a pitcher. Mix well and serve. Makes 4 servings.
