Ragi (Finger Millet) Dosa

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ragi (finger millet) flour
  • 1 cup black gram flour (coarse dhuli urad dal flour)
  • 9-10 coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds (optional)
  • 8-10 curry leaves, torn in half
  • Oil to cook
  • Salt to taste

Method

  1. Put both the flours in a deep vessel and add water slowly, mixing continuously, to make a dosa-like batter.
  2. Allow the batter to rest for 2 hours.
  3. Add the coriander leaves, cumin seeds, salt, and hand-torn curry leaves to the batter. Make dosas, using oil as required, on a hot dosa tawa.
