A Possibility for Being Is Not Another Task
An empty to-do list can create a strange vacuum.
What now?
The quickest answer is another task.
Find a project.
Set a goal.
Fill the space.
But another thing to do is not the only kind of possibility.
A possibility for being asks a different question.
How do I intend to show up in the life that is already here?
Generous.
Curious.
Direct.
Patient.
Courageous.
None of those words completes a task.
They can orient many different tasks.
This is why a possibility for being should not be confused with busywork wrapped in inspiring language.
The doing still matters.
Being becomes visible through action.
But the possibility does not begin by adding another item to the list.
It begins by changing the stance from which the next item will be met.
