Introduction to Cells

Our bodies change throughout life, but they do not simply become new again. Some cells renew; others remain for years. Aging is real.

What can change is the story we attach to age. A familiar thought—“I am too old for that”—can become a limit before we have looked at what is actually possible for us.

This is no reason to deny the body’s needs or to pretend that attitude reverses biology. It is a chance to distinguish physical change from the meaning we give it.

We can care for the body as it is and still question the old conclusions that narrow how we live.
