Fighting What Is Already So Adds Another Struggle

Some situations should be changed.

An unsafe condition needs intervention.

A mistake needs correction.

A broken agreement may need repair.

Acceptance is not an argument against action.

It addresses a different layer.

Before change begins, this is the situation that is already here.

Fighting that fact can add another struggle.

This should not be happening.

I refuse to accept that this is where we are.

The reaction is understandable.

It can also consume energy that the actual response requires.

Acceptance means locating the starting point accurately.

The deadline was missed.

The relationship ended.

The diagnosis was made.

The money is gone.

From there, action can begin.

Fighting what is already so does not reverse the fact.

It can make the fact harder to work with.
